Here is your weather forecast for the week of August 13th-16th.
Tuesday August 13th: Tuesday unfortunately will not be a great beach day. In fact, we will be tracking severe weather for the island. The first round of thunderstorms will be arriving right around 12pm. The second round of thunderstorms will be pushing through around 3pm with heavier rain, strong winds and even potentially some hail. The third round will arrive around 7pm with a continuation of heavy rain and damaging winds. A flash flood watch has already been issued, so please be mindful if you need to be traveling Tuesday night.
Wednesday August 14th: The rain will not be as much of an issue for Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies combined with a moderate northeast wind will keep high temperatures in the upper 70s during the day. A scattered shower or thunderstorm can't be ruled out during the afternoon as well. Overnight temperatures will be in the lower 70s with mostly cloudy skies.
Thursday August 15th: The weather starts to improve by Thursday. We will have partly cloudy skies with temperatures in the low 80s but there will still be a chance of an afternoon thunderstorm. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low 70s.
Friday August 16th: We are looking at a rainy start to the day. The sun will come out for the afternoon though and temperatures will climb into the low 80s. Friday night is looking rain free with temperatures in the lower 70s.
